If you contact us, volunteer, partner with us, or donate through a linked platform, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, role, organisation, or donation-related details shared by the donation platform.

Teachers who publish journal entries use Sanity Studio. Journal content may include teacher names, roles, schools, photographs, captions, and written classroom updates.

We use personal information to reply to messages, coordinate volunteers and partners, operate the journal, manage donations, and keep basic records needed to run Global Language Bridge.

We do not sell personal information.

The public website is hosted on Vercel. Journal content and images are managed with Sanity. Donations are handled by external platforms linked from the Donate page, currently GoFundMe and Teaming.

Those services process information under their own terms and privacy notices when you use them directly.

We keep contact and coordination records for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were provided, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, financial, safeguarding, or operational reasons.

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and safeguarding obligations.

You can also ask us to remove or correct published journal attribution or images where appropriate.
