The people behind GLB

A Montessori facilitator with a background in English literature, early childhood education and curriculum development, currently completing her M.Sc. in Early Childhood Development at BRAC University. At GLB she oversees the English programs across our partner schools in Bangladesh, working with teachers on curriculum and linking the Bangladesh team with the rest of GLB.

A TEFL and CELTA certified educator in English language and literature, with a BA and MA from Dhaka University and decades of teaching under the British curriculum. A guest teacher at Daffodil University, he has deep roots in theatre and creative writing. At GLB he leads teacher preparation, drawing on his work as founding Academic Director of Dhaka’s Prachyanat School of Acting and Design to help volunteers grow more effective and confident in the classroom.

Ahnaf has been involved with GLB in several roles, including teaching and project coordination. He now supports the team across different areas of the program as needs arise.

Mateo co-founded Global Language Bridge in 2024 and works on the organisation’s partnerships, governance, fundraising and overall development. A political science graduate, he is currently completing his master’s at the Geneva Graduate Institute, focusing on conflict, peace and development.

With a background in computer science and multilingual fluency, Luis has built startups and research projects from the ground up. At GLB he applies a builder’s perspective so English education serves as a tool for empowerment while honoring local knowledge and talent.

A finance professional based in London, Ana brings years of experience to GLB’s budgeting, financial planning, and fundraising, helping the organisation make the most of its resources so it can grow confidently.
